how much would an internal hard drive for a Dell studio 17 1735 laptop cost?
My friend got mad and tossed my laptop onto the table, from about a foot up, and now when I turn the computer on, the hard drive clicks and my computer won't boot up correctly. It does say that it cannot access the hard drive. The laptop is a Dell Studio 17 1735. Since the internal hard drive is the problem, how much would a replacement harddrive cost and do I have to send it to Dell to put the hard drive in, since I'm not Very good with fixing computers.

A hard drive is cheap any thing from $ 90 to $120, but I think you should run Dell diagnostic disk and found out what else is wrong and report this to Dell support. I believe your warranty may cover your hard drive therefore it will cost nothing. depending on your warranty level you can also request some Dell tech to replaced the hard drive in front of your face to make sure all issues are solve.
