What the best Asus eeepc to purchase a notebook, or Touch screen?
I need model numbers for each the notebook, or the touch screen. I seriously considering purchase an Asus EEE pc, but I'm not sure as to which one I want. My Granddaughter who is in the Air Force has a EEEpc Touch Screen & she loves it. Another Granddaughter who is in the Army has the Notebook and she too loves it too! So I'm some what confused as to which is "better" the Touch screen, or the Notebook. Here's a brief list of what I want in a New Computer: Nice Graphics, Web-cam, CD & DvD lots of memory & larger than average hard drive. Is that asking for too much? I think not "if" I'm willing to pay for it right? Just need a little more Honest 2 Goodness Advice from OWNERs of Asus EEE pc's.

The TX models from HP are the most popular touchscreen laptops on the market right now but seem to have a slightly bad rap for quality, but then again Iv had my eye on it for some time now.

Asus Eee Pc 904Ha And 1000H
The ASUS EeePC 10000H and the 904Ha are almost identical-cal to each other in shape and design. With their lids shut, the only real way to tell them apart is to look for the 1000H’s protruding battery. The 904Ha we received came with a 6600mah battery.
The 904Ha, as its name suggests, has a 9-inch screen and the 1000H, a 10-inch one. The 904Ha has two thick panels on the either side of its screen which look like speakers at first but the speakers are in fact at the bottom, for both these laptops. One of the complaints laid out at the Eee PC’s feet has to be about its small and narrow vents that run down the side of the laptop. This makes the ASUS Eee PC heat up a little more than the others as there isn’t a lot of air ventilation within the chassis.
The ASUS Eee PC Laptops also look plain and don’t stand out much. The keys feel a little flimsy and the mouse buttons for the touch-pad are a bit tacky as well. One of the unique features of the ASUS Eee that you might want to play on. The screen is decent but can be a little too bright, to be of com-fort. There are LEDs for almost every kind of indication that you may need to see. The audio too doesn’t sound great and it tends to emphasise the highs a bit.
In terms of performance, the only place where the MSI Wind lacked power was in the drive related tests. For example, SiSoft Sandra showed a 39 MB/s drive index score whereas the others Lenovo ideapad were around 50 MB/s. S10 of the unit; nothing around the touchpad, which is a good thing.
There is a compact and light weight battery on the Lenovo S10 which kept the S10 running for 1 hr 48 minutes in our tests; which is a decent time. There are many Laptops with better battery life and these are available for a lot less than the S10. at Rs. 26,000, it’s definitely expensive and is worth only looks matter the most to you.
