Hp Envy 14 or Hp pavillion dv6tse?
Hp Envy 14 has the nice body, and better screen res, but it doesnt have the upgradable options like a touchscreen and a fingerprint reader. Strange that HP doesn't put these features into its best laptop.
I wish the Envy 14 was out already. I really like the idea of the 59% brighter screen and the compact size. The DV6tse is a little bigger than I want right now. I love the dm4 and have one in my HP shopping cart right this minute. I wish it had the lighted keyboard. I love the back lit keyboard on my Macbook pro. I never use it, it is just really cool. I also have the new TM2-2050 touchscreen on pre-order at Amazon. It has a big hard drive, discrete graphics and the touchscreen and small size of 12.1" screen. It is a difficult decision.
I was having a problem paying $150 for the touchscreen on the DV6se, yet it would be totally cool.
The Envy 14 will probably look a bit better and have a nice screen.
It also depends on the processor you plan to get and if cost is part of the equation.
I tend to get a laptop computer that looks really good and has all the options I like or may need.
I suggest to prioritize your wants and the decision will become apparent.
The Google Nexus S Provides A Wealth Of Impressive Features
Internet giants Google have recently released their latest Smartphone in the Nexus series. Whilst the first handset was made by HTC, this time around Google has opted for Samsung to produce the hardware for this impressive Android powered Smartphone.
The handset measures up at 123.9x 63x 10.9 millimeters whilst weighing in at a lightweight 129 g, making the Google Nexus S a slimline handset and relatively pocket friendly considering the size of the screen. The 4 inch super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen does a fantastic job of displaying on screen imagery thanks to the ability to display up to 16M individual colours within a pixel configuration of 480x 800. The screen comes with many features in its own right such as proximity, gyro and accelerometer sensors, multi touch input support and a touch-sensitive shortcut panel. The glass itself has an oleophobic surface preventing the build up of fingerprints and smudges when the screen is in use.
The Google Nexus S offers more than generous internal storage with a capacity of 16 GB available for users to store files such as they're music tracks, videos, documents, photos or additional applications which they have downloaded from the Android Market. The handset does not come with any expandable storage such as a microSD slot, as it is simply not necessary thanks to the generous 16 GB available.
The Google Nexus S relies on 3G coverage as its primary means of connecting to the Internet. In this case, an HSDPA connection provides download speeds of 7.2 Mbps. In order to gain a speedier connection to the web, users can take advantage of the built in Wi-Fi capabilities whenever they have access to the appropriate wireless networks in the local proximity. Bluetooth and micro USB connections are included as standard allowing users to connect to compatible devices, whilst EDGE and GPRS keep the handset connected to the appropriate cellular networks on the move.
Of course, the Google Nexus S comes with a powerful built in digital camera. This boasts 5 mega pixels and which operates at a pixel resolution of 2560x 1920, meaning the resulting images are of superb quality. Auto-focus, an LED flash and touch focus are just some of the included features which, go a long way to simplifying the task of taking photos as well as improving the quality. Another included feature of the camera is geo-tagging, which functions thanks to GPS. This automatically records the location at which the camera was used. As an alternative method of image capture, the camera boasts the ability to shoot high definition video footage, and this is in 720p quality. Additionally, a VGA camera is also included and located on the front of the handset. This allows users to carry out video calls and take portrait pictures.
The wildly popular Android OS is the operating system of choice, in this case the latest version for Smartphones, 2.3 (aka Gingerbread). This allows user to customise many aspects of the HTC Sense user interface, and download additional applications from numerous different categories in the Android Market. A 1 GHz processor is on hand to handle demanding applications for lightning fast user experience.
If you are looking for a phone from social networking needs, productivity tasks in the workplace, or a fantastic around entertainment device and impressive web browser, the Google Nexus S is a great choice.
