Will this Bluetooth mouse work from a distance?
I got hold of a Bluetooth mouse from the Acer Ferrari 5000 laptop.
The mouse probably has a range of 10meters(around 33feet).
I am thinking of buying a Bluetooth USB adaptor to use it to control the Media Center in the next room.
If I get a 100meter(330feet) USB adaptor will I be able to use it or the adaptor will not make a difference since the range of the mouse is 10meters anyway?
Silly me, forgot to add that I connected the computer to the HDTV in the living room.
And that's almost 10 meters through 2 thin walls and 15meter by going through the doors.
But if you say that a 100m USB adaptor will extend the range then I am better getting one.
It will work at 100 metres. But, what's the use of having a mouse 100 metres from the source, you won't even see the screen
