Were can i find good desktop computers for cheap?
I want to buy a desktop but i don't no anything about computers. I want a good one but i don't have a lot of money to spend? Is there websites that sell good refurbished ones. Do they garentee the computer?
Ho.OT has a good answer. You can also call around your local small computer repair places and see if they have something. Also, there is usually a place that buys computers just off lease and re-sells them, and they are usually great deals. Most used waranties are for 30 days. Refurbished computers at retail stores normally have full warranties and are a Very good price.
Refurbished Computers-The Deals Look Amazing But Should You Consider?
Used and refurbished computer products are certified and pre-owned computer products that have in many cases undergone a quite stringent process of testing and diagnostics. The refurbishment process itself is fully completed before being offered to the public for sale. Although some computers are sent back to the manufacturer because of technical issues all units are put through a detailed state of the art process of testing and stress tests. The result are computers that are more stable and reliable than ever before.
When considering refurbished desktop computers or laptops for purchase to keep in mind that there are some areas in that acquisition that should be investigated prior to purchase. Make sure that the unit has been fully tested of course. Each unit that has been refurbished should include a same as new warranty. If it doesn't then be sure to visit one of the big three manufacturers as nearly all the major players are offering it these days.
Everything with the used computer should have been thoroughly cleaned prior to being offered for resale. Included in the process should be professional repackaging which includes but isn't limited to a new boxes, current manuals, cables and any necessary added devices.
The operating software originally shipped with the computer and the custom software should be included and licensed. Typically a new serial number is issued to the computer. If you don't see one this is never a good sign. Most reputable suppliers and brokers will also include a final question and answer inspection report prior to being made sellable to the public as refurbished stock.
Ultimately the procedures for a refurbished unit are every bit as tough as standards as brand new computers. In fact the reality is most companies perform extra cross checking of these systems to ensure they don't have a likelihood of being shipped back.
One final tip is to make sure you purchase your computer online or at least shop for it online and place the order over the telephone. If you attempt to purchase your computer from a local retailer you most certainly will pay more and not get nearly the warranty. Remember all the major manufacturers online are now offering same as new warranties. Why pay more for a computer for less of a warranty?
