"acpi/pnp0c02/1" can anybody tell to which company this motherboard belongs to?
HI, I recently bought a compaq 420 laptop (4 GB RAM, 500 GB hard disk) without reinstalled OS and installed XP professional after purchase. When I tried "Intel processor temperature checking software", it has not installed. When I checked hardware information through intel site, it showed "motherboard manufacturer: Unknown". when i checked thought Device manager it showed the above mentioned code for motherboard? Is it made of Intel? If not what made it may be. How to know whether all parts of my laptop are genuine? How can I used my system product ID and serial number to check whether my laptop is refurbished or not?
