Is there any way to set my laptop to not end my programs when I shut my computer?
I think it might have a sensor or something, but when I shut my laptop completely is signs me off of AIM and temporarily ends my programs. When I open it again everything comes back up (AIM, programs) but I want to be able to shut it without it signing me off while it's closed. If there's any way I can set that let me know how to do that,
I have a Inspiron Dell.
Go to Control Panel > Power Options. Change "When I close the lid of my portable computer" to "Do nothing".
