What is the best laptop & software out right now for editing video?
I just bought a Sony Handycam DCR-PC1000 and will be using it to record skydives (jumping with it), I want to dump the video on the computer and use the software to edit the jumps and make a movie.
You can never go wrong with Nero. If you can foot the $80 bill to get the Ultra Edition, it will be well worth your money if you do a lot of audio/video work. It does everything, and all it's programs are accessible from an easy-to-use Smart Start menu. It's so easy, even skydivers can use it! Just kidding. Good luck and godspeed.
