according to the model numbers, your TV accepts HDMI, S-Video, Component, and Composite inputs.
Your problem is with the video outputs on your laptop... only VGA or DV(via Firewire).
You would need to find an active converter to take your VGA signal and convert it to any of the other connections available for your TV.
Unfortunately, you got a laptop with minimal output options... I am writing this on my Toshiba Satellite A205-S5863, and the output options I have are S-Video, VGA, and DV (via Firewire)... I would have no problems connecting my laptop to your TV thru my S-Video connection.
